Attorney Michael Garcia was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado. He attended the University of Southern Colorado and later graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1995. Michael founded the Law Office of Michael L. Garcia in 2000 and has been serving the legal needs of his fellow Southern Coloradans for more than two decades. Michael is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Pueblo Bar Association, and the Criminal Defense Bar and is involved in the local community.
Vanessa Cortez
Attorney Vanessa Cortez is a Colorado native and attended Colorado State University Pueblo where she studied Sociology, Criminology, and Political Science. Vanessa graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2019 and joined the Law Office of Michael L. Garcia. Vanessa is passionate about serving underrepresented communities and making the legal system more accessible for all people. Vanessa is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and a mentor with the “Law School…Yes We Can” program in Colorado.
